Sardinian jazz legend and multi award winning trumpet player Paolo Fresu meets London based Sardinian jazz vocalist/lyricist and theatre director Filomena Campus and her stunning band featuring Steve Lodder on piano, Dudley Phillips on double bass and Martin France on drums.
Campus’ internationally acclaimed project ‘Jester of Jazz’ returns to Pizza Express with its sophisticated mix of pure jazz contaminated with theatrical images and short poems by Stefano Benni, Franca Rame, Maria Carta.
Paolo Fresu and Filomena Campus will take you into a breathtaking imaginative journey into their own culture and music tradition.
